Lincoln Center Bachelor Pad

CLIENT: PRIVATE CLIENT
DETAILS: INTERIOR DESIGN

We designed this compact apartment as the perfect bachelor pad for a returning client, for whom we previously completed workplace projects near Times Square and the Financial District.  The residence was envisioned as a personal counterpoint to his fast-paced professional life. The goal was to make the most of a modest footprint in a new build near Lincoln Center while creating a home that feels open, functional, and distinctly his own.

Our process began with close collaboration to understand the client’s routines, aesthetic preferences, and long-term goals. A strong emphasis was placed on privacy, integrated storage, and a sense of calm within the urban environment. These priorities informed the layout and guided each design decision.

Materiality plays a central role throughout the apartment. Dark tones, walnut  woods, and tactile fabrics establish mood and cohesion, while subtle dark blue accents, tonal wallpaper, and curated artwork add depth and personality. Reflective and natural materials such as polished chrome and unlacquered brass balance darker moments, allowing light to move through the space and creating a dynamic, layered atmosphere.

The result is an urban home that lives well beyond its square footage, offering a refined and inviting sanctuary.
