A/D/O for BMW Group is a multidisciplinary hub that fuses workspace, cultural venue, and design incubator into one ambitious environment. HUXHUX served as interior design consultant, helping bring to life a place where designers, entrepreneurs, and the public could work, gather, and be inspired.

The process began with extensive stakeholder engagement to understand the needs of a program that included coworking, workshops, exhibitions, retail, and culinary offerings. Flexibility shaped the entire layout, with zones that shift easily between everyday use, events, and pop-up installations. HUXHUX developed multiple interior scenarios and created custom furniture suites to support the wide-ranging program, which included exhibition areas, a design shop, artist-in-residence studios, staff offices, meeting rooms, and outdoor courtyards and lounges. For the opening, we also designed a mylar curtain installation that animated one of the main corridors.

Materiality balances industrial clarity with warmth. Raw concrete, exposed steel, and plywood are complemented by soft lighting, textiles, and custom furnishings to create an environment that feels both durable and inviting. Elements such as a communal table and modular partitions foster interaction and allow the space to continually evolve. A/D/O stands as a model for how thoughtful design can meaningfully support creativity, community, and cultural innovation.
